Nnewi born Eugene Nnaemeka Maduewesi is the Publisher of the Nigerian Law Registry Dot Com. Emeka, as he is widely known, graduated from the University of Nigeria in 1986 with Bachelor of Laws (Honors) degree. He attended the Nigerian Law School, Lagos, and was enrolled as a Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Nigeria in October 1987. From 1987 to 1998, he practiced law as a litigator from his base in Kano, Kano State. He was active in local bar activities and argued many cases, some of which are published in Nigeria's prestigious law reports.

Emeka emigrated to the United States of America in 1998. He has a Master of Laws (LL.M) degree in Intellectual Property and Technology Law from the University of San Francisco Law School, California. He is currently an active member of the State Bar of California and an Associate with the Litigation Practice Group, Townsend and Townsend and Crew, a 165-Attorney, intellectual property and anti-trust law firm in San Francisco, California.

A devout Christian, Emeka is a life member of the Full Gospel Business Men's Fellowship International, served as the Registrar for the Anglican Diocese of Kano from 1992 to 1998 and served the Vestry of St. Paul's Episcopal Church, Oakland, California, from January 2000 to December 2003. He is married to Ify and they have a son, Chidalu Darryl Kamsi, and a daughter, Chiamaka Lindsey Adeze.
