Emeka (Eugene) Maduewesi is a dual-qualified (Nigeria and State of California), Information Technology, Intellectual Property and Antitrust Attorney, based in Silicon Valley, California. From the Maduewesi family of Obiuno, Otolo, Nnewi, Anambra State, Emeka graduated from the University of Nigeria in 1986 with Bachelor of Laws (Honors) degree, attended the Nigerian Law School, Lagos, and was enrolled as a Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Nigeria in October 1987.
From 1987 to 1998, he practiced as a litigator from his base in Kano, Kano State. He argued many appellate cases, some of which were published in Nigeria’s prestigious law reports. He emigrated to the United States of America in 1998, and obtained a Master of Laws (LL.M) degree in Intellectual Property and Technology Law from the University of San Francisco School of Law, San Francisco, California.
